I first started working in the model industry in 1999. My first proper job was a sales assistant/tea boy in the local model shop, but after 6 years I left to dabble in university and independent living for a while. After the inevitable straining of the bank balance that this sort of thing brings about, I returned to West Sussex to put my university education to good use.
After a prolonged search I then decided to fall back on Plan B and put my knowledge of the model industry to good use, starting at Gaugemaster in October 2006. My role here is split between Sales and Accounts, although I seem to be amassing more arrows for my quiver by the day helping out in other departments.
Outside of work I am very passionate about music, to the extent that I was a DJ at a club in Cheltenham during my uni days. There is nothing like enforcing your own music taste onto other people! I also have a keen interest in British military history, and have been known to wargame on the odd occasion at the local wargames club in Bognor Regis. |
